Evernua uses three cookies. All three are strictly necessary for the service to function, and there are no advertising or analytics trackers.
What a cookie is
A small text file placed on your device by a site you visit, which can be read back on a later visit. Some are indispensable; many, on many sites, exist to observe you. Ours are all of the first kind.
The cookies we use

What we do not use
No Google Analytics or any equivalent. No advertising pixels. No social network buttons that report your visit. No third-party scripts of any kind — even our typefaces are served from our own servers rather than fetched from Google Fonts, so no request leaves your browser for a third party.
Because all three cookies are strictly necessary, European rules require us to inform you about them but not to ask your permission. We show a notice anyway, because you should be told plainly what is on your device.
If we ever add analytics
The preferences panel already carries an Analytics switch, turned off. If we ever introduce measurement tools, they will run only if you turn that switch on yourself, and this page will list them before they are enabled.
Changing your mind
Use the cookie button in the corner of any page to reopen your preferences at any time.
You can also delete cookies through your browser settings. Removing the session cookie signs you out; removing the language cookie returns Evernua to your browser's language.
